Could you PM MyHome please your email address so I can help one to one? I'm busy so can't keep posting up on here. If you feel you can trust me, your landline number would be helpful.

We have made sure that there is clear understanding of why FA walked out that day, because we had rumbled her on her and her b/f setting up a rival business 500 yards away
Does your hub's business have a policy setting out what his employees can or cannot do when they leave. Many businesses have a clause which states that when an employee leaves they cannot set up a similar business or poach clients within a certain proximity to and within a certain timescale of leaving the previous employment. If your husband's business does have a policy with such a clause in it, then his FA and bf will be breaking employment law if they do set up a rival business. Hub could then take them to an employment tribunal.....just a thought.....

I now have the number to call but need a choice of times. I wondered if tomorrow mid to late morning would be a good time?
This inability of the CPS to meet deadlines appears to be endemic. To have it postponed is dreadful but the extra info could be invaluable. I couldn't help but notice recently regarding charging decisions in high profile cases, the CPS appeared incredibly efficient making announcements within only a few days (at the outside 10 days) of receiving the files of evidence. Whereas for the rest of us it can run into months and months. It is little suprise they are just as tardy when it comes to presenting files to the defence. I'm sure Seeking Justice had similar problems before his trial which went ahead regardless.
Do you know at this stage whether your liar will be using the live link facility as the curtain option wasn't mentioned for Majistrates court from what I have read.
It sounds as if your defence is a lot more engaged now, if they're looking at the background of the witnesses, they sound like unscrupulous people so you never know what may turn up
Hi anyone,
I am sorry if I seem stupid asking this but once CPS have made a charge- isn't their work over? I assumed that they would have no further investigations to make. Could anyone explain this to me? Surely if they have made a decision to charge - what further work is there to do on their part??? Haven't they already collected their evidence and then it is ready to pass on to the defence. I am also puzzled why it takes so long for them to pass this info on. Isn't it just all in one file ready to be photocopied and passed on? How can they not pass some bits on but send other parts?? Sorry for being bit confused - please explain in simple terms!!!

Hi MH
Yes there is a restrictive covenant but effectively she has tied our hands on this one with her allegations. However the new owners are now free to pursue this course of action.

Beats me but that's how it is. The initial statements are slightly different. There should be another piece of something but Sol doesn't know what.
Our legal team have requested more info.
At the plea hearing, the CPS were very disorganised so nothing surprises me.

Thanks for your quick reply. When you say the initial statements were different - do you mean the statement of the accuser. Does that mean she has changed her statement?? All very puzzling.......does any one else know answer to my questions as I was wondering this as in general not just in ITJ's case.

Could you post your question on your thread or on the general discussion section then members can answer your question and not muddle it with ITJ's questions? Cheers MH

Hi ITJ, I've been away so have only just caught up with your thread.
I also would have thought your hub's case was far from 'hopeless' and was very surprised to hear that his legal team tried to get him to plead guilty. Are you sure they weren't just refering to themselves
I'm afraid just reading about them sent shivers down my spine.
