Yes, it happens all the time. Like many others, my son was falsley accused, charged, went to court, and found not guilty, leaving us wondering 'What the hell was that all about?' It's a wretched process...

My case: Hubby falsely accused, charged, tried and found Guilty. Luckily (?) for us, the judge could see sense even if the jury couldn't, and he was only (!) sentenced to 12 months, of which he served 6.

My hubby was falsely accused, charged, went to trial and thankfully got NG.

Unfortunately it can, and often does, happen.
