  • Found not guilty 6 years ago and still can't move on. :( :( :(

After being faslely accused of rape i have a child 4 years later. The Local Authorities then decide i pose a risk, take my child, do not give me any help or support, or allow me to be re-assesed. Social Services and the NSPCC say i pose a risk yet the Police say that there is no legal reason i can not have children or have a relationship with a woman with children.

How can i get re-assesed or get the Social Serviceces and the NSPCC to say i am safe to be around kids. Until then my life is on hold. I am 27 now, it has been over 6 years since i was found not guilty, and nearly 3 years since the Loacal Authorities removed my child. Even though i got found "Not guilty" i am still not able to have a family, or a relationship with someone who has children.

I have been fightting this ever since my child was taken nearly 3 years ago. Now i feel like giving up.... i do not have much fight left in me. Can anyone offer me any help or advice? Thank you in advance.

    Hi

First of all - do NOT give up! I know it's difficult, everybody here knows it's difficult but think of your child. Your child would, if s/he could, tell you to fight and fight some more.
I can't give you any legal advice or really anything that useful about where to go and who to contact, but I can give you moral support!

    Take care!

I was found not guilty myself 2 months ago I don't understand how they can do that?

You did not commit a crime and were found innocent of any wrong doing so why is this happening to you?

      Gutted for you my friend!
