desperate parent of accused
Thank you for your kind words on my thread. My god you must be going through hell. My son, husband, daughter and I, all collapsed into floods of tears when they said not guilty, believe it or not we actually expected Guilty and had prepared ourself for that. The lawyer had warned us that the judge had seriously misdirected the jury to convict our son and if guilty was verdict he was intent on lodging appeal. So I know exactly what you mean about some judges being baised. We were very lucky our lawyer had employed two female advocates on our behalf and they were brilliant. If it wasnt for them I dont know what we would have done. I can never thank them enough, It is really important to have legal assistance you have faith in. I hope things improve for you and your boyfriend. Pass my best regards onto him. I wish you both luck in the future.
