Hi everyone this is my first time here i came here seeking some advice of what other members will think of this big mess i have got myself into

please try and understand and please dont jump to conclusions what happened my wife sister age 47 who i use to see before i met my wife was dumped on our doorstep by her boyfriend whom she abuse and attack with a hammer

i told my wife i never wanted her to stay because she is trouble but due she not having any where to go she had to stay,

one night she came unto me and i made a big mistake and slept with her with her consent in our own home while my wife was upstairs in bed, this happened on the thursday

the following morning we both decided not to let ,my wife know what happens, she was fine on the friday but on the saturday she went to look at a flat that she has to move into which she did then she went to the bar and get totally drunk and came back and attack my wife and daughter and tell my wife how she made love to me and that i have married the wrong sister

this was going on for couple of hours we could not throw her on the street as she was drunk, after that she passes out

the following day my wife confronted her about it and her answer was that she never had a blockout then she keep saying to me to tell my wife that i slept with her which i denied, big mistake i should have come clean and tell my wife the truth as now i am in a bigger mess as now this woman has been to the police and is accusing me of rape as now she is telling pure lies to save her skin as she wont admit that she has done wrong to her sister and found out to be liar my wife has forgiven me for this mistake but she will not forgive her for what she is doing to our family

please be fair with me as the only person i have done wrong to is my wife and she has forgiven me and i am very sorry for what i has done

Sadly your situation is not unusual, and I can understand why you acted as you did!

Anyway, what's done is done, so to help other members to offer advice, can you tell us if you have been arrested, interviewed, or charged by the police with the alleged offence.

speak to a lawyer if you have money if you dont have money borrow money or go to legal aid I would do this straight away if i was in your situation also if the police come to arrest you before you speak to a lawyer tell them you want to evoke you right to have a lawyer present if your lawyer tells you to give a statement.If you did not sin with the sister and cheat on your wife and family you would not have this problem now you must spent some money to protect yourself from creating much bigger problem call a lawyer

Legal aid covers having a solicitor present at an interview.
The fact that the police haven't immediately arrested you is a promising sign.
I would ensure you get the contact details of a solicitor who specialises in false rape allegations, so you may call upon them when your interview comes

Bear in mind you will probably be arrested and this is normal procedure in these cases. Follow your solicitor's advice. If the police try to engage you in chat as you wait for your solicitor or as you travel to the police office, politely say you would rather wait to have your solicitor present before speaking.

hi yes i was arrested and interviewed with a duty solicitor and then let out on bail also i have been to my second interview today and now i am off bail i have listen to this woman statement and it is all lies any one listen to it would know that she is lying it is now for the pps to decide i hope she got found out and get punish for it, i do deserve punishment from god and my wife for adultery but not for a rape i never do. thanks very much for your replies

Did you mean that you no longer have to report in to the police station, i.e. the police are taking no further action in the case?

yes the police is taking no further action but all the evidence will go to the pps to see if there is enough evidence for a trial or conviction so i will have to wait and see what happens this is all crazy i actually tried to take my life friday gone but my wife found me before it get too far why are some women so evil

Do you mean that the police have now handed it over to the prosecuting authorities? To say that they the police are taking no further action suggests they are dropping the case against you.

How will you know what the PPS's decision is; i.e. did the police say how and when they will let you know?

the police says they will notify me i am getting scared now even though i know i am innocent as the maximum sentence is life imprisonment
