Police and subsequently the CPS "take every piece of evidence and try to extract the most negative connotations for their presentations in court". It's their job to help Judges fill those jails.
No, this girl hasn't been to the cops, but the "what if" definitely played on my mind. Circumstances aside, I was just wondering whether anyone else had suffered with loss of libido/ED as a result of being falsely accused.

this is a strange question to ask and I'm not sure if anyone should answer you.
And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the world. Then made the world round .... and laughed and laughed and laughed ..
It might sound harsh but my only advice would be to stay clear of drunken one night stands
I don't think this sounds harsh enough.
Loss of libido is a normal reaction to any high level of stress. I can't see why having sex with a stranger would be something you'd consider given what you're going through and some of the stories you know of on here.
Definitely wasn't worth it, I'd imagine you've reached that conclusion yourself.
Catterz, have you learned nothing?
You put yourself in an extremely vulnerable situation. Being drunk is no excuse.
As Ivor said, if you have caught anything, it certainly wasn't common sense.
Libido or no libido.... my son says good-bye to girls( that once he might have liked to see the next morning) in very public places and in full view of a CTC camera. Does that stink of paranoeoia? Perhaps, but for the moment it makes sense. On the subject of sleep... calms can be good and some homeopathic remedies and essential oils ( lavender springs to mind) too . Whatever will work for you - including a short presciption for sleeping pills, good regular sleep is remarkable thing and the absence of it over a period of time, really detrimental.
Duly noted, all. Must admit I was in a bit of a state at the time, and afterwards and wasn't really thinking. Will certainly be keeping a low profile for the time being. Feeling a bit silly now.
lesson learned!! Just think with your head in future

I agree with Izzy, I certainly have been no saint and thus am not preaching, and Tony's False Accuser was a long-term partner, however coming on this forum for well over 2 years has taught me that the risks involved in one-night-stands FAR outweigh the fleating pleasure.
False Accusers Beware: You have chosen to dine at the Karma Cafe. There is no menu: you will just get what you deserve.
Was due to go in for my bail appearance today, but just had a call from my solicitor saying they've spoken to the investigating officer and they have decided to take no further action. Massive relief right here.
I would just like to thank you all for your advice and support over this time, even when I put added risk on myself last month. Don't think I could've got on with leading a normal life if it wasn't for you guys. So thanks.
