Like fighter, my boyfriend's case is historic, the jealous ex girlfriend so i'm being a witness more for how she's tried to split us up for the last four years etc but also because he showed me and my mother an email which his barrister said he would have not shown us if he had really done it. So I sort of know, if they do decide to use me as a witness what sort of things they will want to ask. His solicitor has asked me to write a statement as such as to what she's like etc, so that may be used or they may use me as a witness.

I don't know about your husbands case, but I would imagine it could be questions like since the accusation what has your sex life been like, how did he act around the time of the accusation etc? not entirely sure though I'm not very good with all this legal stuff! Were you briefed, as such, by the barrister/solicitor beforehand?

As people have said before just try to stay calm (as hard as that sounds, i'm ****ting it already!) and even just being there should help your husband in some way!

yes good point hey you! the barrister will instruct you before you stand at the witness stand. for our case, the barrister's strategy is to just stick to the statement given and to answer concisely, so the prosecution will have not much ammunition to use against you. Dont lose temper also :-) Hugs!!

thank you all so much, there is not a lot more we can do now but stay strong positive and just tell the truth, if the jury do not see through her then there is nothing we can do.

its in the hands of the barrister now and fingers toes arms legs everything crossed the trial goes the way we want it to and we get the result that we deserve.

things should be over with tomorrow, so just praying for the right result.

as i have said because it is on going dont want to go into detail but what ever the outcome is tomorrow i will be back to explain and hopefully answer any questions that may help others whos trials are about to happen.
