I just called an other officer who dealing with my case, he goes my car might take up to 2 to 4 weeks Or could be more or less. don't know yet because forensic search still going on.

but i wonder, how could it take that long because if you want to do biological test, all you have to do it, get the bits from the car and check on microscopes and computers but why want to keep my car in. i am paying insurance for nothing.

As for the car, there may well be a backlog of cars needing forensically checked, which could explain the time that it is taking.

As you come across a lot of peoples who been false accused for rape or similar situation, so like an idea, how long will they roughly take to give the stuff back? what ever happened, has happened in the car so i know my car is very important to get forensic checked.

As answered above by Fighter, there are no set timescales.

I hope there are other ways of getting in touch with some of your friends -- like email, social networking sites and personally visiting them. Please dont let this situation stop you from taking interviews to lessen the damage it does on you. Hopefully one of your family member can offer to drive you to interviews if buses/trains are expensive.

As I have said earlier, try not to scare yourself too much because it will just bring you down.

I had my mobile back after 11 months(but it is extreme),I had some customers,friends,family members in it.

I contacted my family via emails and bought myself a cheap pay as you go .

Once again don't worry too much and try to find solutions to get to these jobs interviews and find yourself a phone.

You can't just wait.I feel sorry for you as I am sure you are a good lad and did nothing you believed wrong but you must go to these jobs interviews.

There's a case I am helping with where the person who has been (wrongfully) convicted has a partner whose computer was taken. The arrest was over a year ago and conviction four months ago and she is still yet to get her belongings back.

i don't worry about my phone, its on contract so i told the company to send me my o2 sim and bought a phone. the only thing i am worrying about ym car, i guess its a big thing so they should give it back soon.

and yeah i am just revising and preparing for the interviews.to hard to get a job these days even though you have a good degree, every company want experience, hardly any jobs there for graduates.but i hope it goes well so my life can get bit busy because right now, if i stay at home, i always be thinking about the case.
if i am guilty, i wouldn't be worried because i would know, if i did something wrong, i will get punished but i have done nothing and really don't want to get punished for nothing. but i really hope, everything will be ok and time just get pass quick.

i had a chat with my solicitor today, as he said in order for the accuser to prove rape offense against you, they must prove that along you with an other male forced a 15 years old female into your car where one of you raped her.

as i have already told the truth and i didn't force her and i didn't even touch her so rape is a far far thing.

1 But as my solicitor said about forcing, i want to ask you all that, forcing mean to get out from the car, grap the girl and push her into the car. that's what you call forcing right?

2 or can you even force someone by talking? because no one forced her, she jumped off from the railing on the road, opened her own door and get in the rear seat. if there is no CCTV there, why would police believe me on her? how would i prove that no one forced her to get into the car?

hi all

I don't know but from the last few days, i am worried like hell. can't think of anything and can't get on with routine life. always keep thinking about the accusation. as i have told the truth that i didn't do anything the girl, not even touched her. i know i wont be charge of rape but still don't know i am still very scared.

I close my eyes, i can see jail and that i got jail clothes on. I have been praying to God but still i am very scared.

today i rang the officer who investigating my case, i asked him about my car because they got it since 3 weeks. he said, it is still under examination and i goes like forensic search only take couple of hours to get all finger prints and biological test. he goes, it is not a CSI program, a 15 year old girl got raped in your rear seat of your car so it would little long. { i don't know, i didn't like the way he said that }

he also said last time that they might do an interview again with me, i don't know either they want some more information or they found something related to rape which obv i haven't done it.

i really studied hard all my life and when its about to start a professional life. this all happened. i am just really worried, keep thinking that if i got charged for doing nothing, I don't want to go to jail rather just do a suicide.

I know it is easier said than done but try to calm down.

Stop ringing the police for your car or anything.If you have a question to ask them,contact a solicitor first.

Do not think about suicide and I would suggest to try to keep yourself busy and talk to your family or on this (your) thread.

You didn't like the way the police officer answered to you but you rang him.
They have an investigation to do and you are probably not the only one on the list.

I am confident you are genuine but your "ex" friend is less.

If he did something to this girl,he should have admitted it.
He lied to the police and they only must find out the truth.
