Our friend Stressed Out is being sentenced tomorrow.

Please spare your positive thoughts and prayers for him around mid-morning tomorrow and for his lovely family who will be waiting to hear the outcome. His brother Extremely Stressed is attending and I don't think any of them will be getting much sleep tonight.

Just checked the court listings and it seems that it's been postponed until this afternoon due to the walk-outs by sols and barristers over cuts to legal aid.

Will update as soon as I know unless his brother comes here before he tells me.

Those darned solicitors! As if they don't have an easy enough life and receive nice fat pay checks into the bargain!

I can only pass on positive vibes an say that I am thinking of you guys and hoping that things work out!

With RF on the case I have no doubt that the necessary corrections will take place and justice will be restored.

Not down to me but what CA will accept. No common sense there sadly.

Most barristers make under £40K a year before tax. The Government are relying on figures from a very few highly paid legally aided barristers and solicitors. Who would expect to pay a plumber the cost of putting a washer on a tap when he's installed a boiler?

Sentence is supposed to be 2.15pm.

I read about salary level in paper today and I am surprised to find this out. I had assumed it was much more than this. Surely they deserve more than this. (well some of them??)
