Thanks Erin. My approach has been to push all this to the back of my mind and just bring it to the fore when needed. Even though I am extremely confident, you just never know what cruel twist fate has in store for you. From reading up on things I know the Max sentence I could receive would be 3 concurrent life sentences, which when you think about it, is the end of everything. So just in case the unthinkable happens I have to spend every possible moment doting on my wife and beautiful kids. :-)

No person understands the pain like we are feeling and for the innocent people who are charged it's either swim or sink ain't it it's like hell on earth but one must be strong and know there will be a day when he finds peace when all this is a bad memory

          The fight starts tomorrow.

          Hi people.

Well, my fight begins tomorrow with the start of the trial!!! Since I last posted much has happened. I was kicked out of my house by social services, which came completely out of the blue 18 months after being arrested!!! I am not allowed any contact whatsoever with my children including no telephone contact!! The last 2 weeks have been an absolute nightmare. I am a broken man and at the moment have no faith in anything.

I would dearly love to say that I have faith in "British justice" and the truth will out, but we all know that is not the case, and many innocent people have been incarcerted for rapes they haven't commited. Hopefully I will be able to come back for my bannanas, but somehow I don't think that will be the case!!!

Very best wishes for tomorrow and please go in with a positive viewpoint: you are innocent but the jury may pick up on any negative vibes from you.

If you have time, do read the stickys on how to conduct yourself at trial.

Good luck, Shattered. As you say, the fight begins now, and you MUST fight! Think of your wife and children and fight for them. This is your chance to show those awful liars for what they are. Remember, you are an innocent man

Well we arrived at the court at 9:30 this morning to be told that another case had over run and it would be closer to lunch time before I was called in. So after hanging around all day we were finally called in at 3:30!!! The judge said that it would be pointless swearing a jury in so late in the day and adjourned until 10 tomorrow morning. So after waiting about all day I was only in the dock for 5 minutes!

Interestingly though, one of the FA's relatives come out of the witness room on the phone saying that one of the FA's was panicking and was in bits. Apparently she was saying that she was struggling to remember what she alleged had happened because it was over 10 years ago. My feeling is that She is panicking because now it has come to the crunch, she is scared of being caught in her lies. So fingers crossed she messes up tomorrow.

Quite right, one would think that such a traumatic event would be indelibly etched on the memory

Easy to remember the truth but difficult to recollect the latest tale especially when faced with cross-examination from an astute barrister.

                              Best wishes for tomorrow.

                                What a day!!!

                                Hi guys,

Well we started today and the first 2 "Victims" (ha what a joke) were called to give there evidence. The 1st one managed to upset the prosecutor by answering everyone of his questions with "dunno, can't remember" and totally fell apart under cross examination and had to concede alot of what she had alleged was simply not true. I nearly choked when my barrister asked her how I could have possibly sent her crude messages on facebook when she was just 14 in 2004 when facebook didn't go live until 2005 in the US and late 2006 in the UK and she replied "Well he did"!!! and it was briliant when my barrister then produced evidence that prooved she didn't join FB until 2008 when she was infact 18, to which this skank replied "Oh yea"

She also gave evidence that totally undermines what "Victim" 3 is going to say when she gives evidence tomorrow! So no matter what "Victim" 3 says she will look like the liar that she is!.

"Victim" 2 then gave evidence and totally pi$$ed off the prosecutor by giving different answers to what she gave in her DVD interview with the police. She also made herself look like a total fool and liar under cross!!

So all in all a great day for me for but not a good day for the False Acussers! We anticipateI will be on the stand tomorrow afternoon and we will finish tomorrow with the proecution closing statement. Monday will be defence closing statement, Judges summing up and then the Jury will retire to consider! So fingers crossed!!!
