In the initial stages I would imagine the judge has a glance over what is in front of him and quickly assesses the completeness and competence of evidence put in front of him/her. There words of warning to the prosecution are basically telling them to get their asses in gear and actually prepare for the coming trial.
It could also be read as a possibility that they don't believe there is enough evidence to proceed and that unless more work is done the case could very well be thrown out.
Without actually asking the judge directly it is hard to speculate on the context in which they are slating the prosecution. Have your legal team given any clear indications?
They give it to me in lamens terms in that the case is a crock of @&£- and they have no chance of a conviction and that he'd (judge) seen many cases like this. He sed he would be managing the case for pcmh.
The CPS are often less prepared than they should be and can try to avoid giving the other side what they need to.
Often a judge will pull them up on this which is a good thing as it shows you have a judge who is on the ball and the CPS are less likely to be able to pull a fast one i.e withhold evidence in an unused bundle

I took it as a positive......
That IS positive. You should be happy with how that has went. means he is going to be keeping an eye on this case closely. He already has his doubts.
sorry to read that brokenman - anything we can do to help - even if its to 'listen'?
And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the world. Then made the world round .... and laughed and laughed and laughed ..
I've just been trying to cope with it on my own and I must admit it all nearly got too much.
I cannot believe that someone who knows exactly what happened would let a human being suffer through this, just to save her guilt!
It's something that you will never completely get your head round unfortunately.
Some humans appear to just be 'built' differently from the rest of us...we're onto a loser if we are trying to figure them out.
Be prepared to have up and down days. On the down days, remember that you will feel up days again...

It's funny a senior policeman turned barrister who was in charge of the whole state drug sqaud told me last night during dinner that for the detectives (If) they don't like you they don't care if you didn't do it.He said it's like a game for the police all they want is a conviction and they don't care about any damage to your life.It made me not want to finish my dinner hmmm.
