Least you can do is have some of the pain and suffering that she has inflicted on you returned to her doorstep. I don't normally like tit for tat but where a situation like this occurs and the actual accuser ADMITS to lying I feel it is only right that she suffers to the absolute maximum.

It not only destroys the lives of those accused but it also hinders the real victims of rape. I can only hope in time my accuser does the same.

Anyway, congratulations and hopefully at last this nightmare will begin to fade away. I would look into have the 'mark' removed from your record, others on here are doing this so can advise on the route to take but it is only right that it be removed given the circumstances.

Hopefully, with the not guilty verdict being delivered in court, it should be fairly easy to have this removed.

One other thing that sprang into my mind.

Now I do not know the validity of this, maybe others could advise.

There has been a crime committed here. The crime has been committed against you and supported by the state (Police/prosecutors). You have suffered harm and loss.

                        The crime has been admitted.

I would recommend looking into a criminal injuries compensation claim.

I know others have been down this route and been unsuccessful BUT every case is treated individually and on its own merits. By my own approximations the damage and suffering that you have suffered is almost equal to actually being raped. The damages are not the same as rape, obviously, but they must be nearly as powerful as being raped except on a different path. A different type of suffering and feeling of helplessness.

Hopefully the Crown will push for a conviction for Perverting the Course of Justice.

If they do then you might be able to make a claim for your trauma although I believe others have tried before and not succeeded.I happen to know a no-win no-fee solicitor who deals with this sort of claim.......

Plenty hungry solicitors out there and the one that finally makes this bloody government see what they are doing to people would be the Nick Freeman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Freeman) of false rape allegations. They'd be the Ying to the out of control Yang.

It's difficult escalating something to such a scale where genuine change could take place though. I would take the name of RFs solicitor and give it all a shot.
