Yoda, yes. Sadly this is very true and provides a clear motive for many to make a false allegation.

I'm gobsmacked to say the least!

One of the only things heloing me come to terms with the women i love(d) making a claim agaisnt me was her being poorly.. I don't know what I'll do if it transpires she did it atleast in part for financial gain.

Hi all, sorry for not keeping in contact, just been trying to be as "normal" as I can be with this hanging over me. It's been a killer few months but the end is in sight. I go to trial at the beginning of November, so if I haven't posted by the end of November, you'll know it all went horribly wrong. Even though I haven't been back here anywhere near as often as I should have,I just want to thank everyone who has replied to my thread for all the help and advice they have given me. To anyone else reading this thread, and going through the same thing I say this. "Stay as strong as you can,dig out ANYTHING you can to support your case, photo's, videos etc and good luck". Wish me luck everyone, and I hope to post later. If not, keep up the fight!!!!

Hi & thanks for the update.

You sound very positive and this is good, however do have a read of the stickies at the top of this section regarding what to expect and how to conduct yourself at trial (treat it like a forthcoming examination)

All good wishes & sending you positive vibes.

Hi All, first of all, hold the dancing banana's. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post but I was trying to get my life on track as much as I could. I'm home for Christmas but my fight is ongoing. My case was deserted "Pro loco et tempore". I'll post more details in the new year, but just to say, I might get re-indicted and have to go through it all over again.

In the meantime, thank you everybody who offered their support before my trial, and........

Merry Christmas and a Happy, healthy, prosperous New Year to all.

                      Kind Regards and Best Wishes,

                        Hi Psychojock,
I'm new-ish to this site so have not seen your posts before....You've been through an horrendous time and I'm really sorry it's still not over for you. My brother quoted a wise saying to me a couple of days ago, (but he can't remember who originally said it) "The truth will set you free..." I can only hope he's right for you, me and everyone else on here

                          hi there Jock

You said that when you split, you left her everything but if you legally did, they wouldn't have to ask your permission would they?

Did you mean that when you moved out, you had the intention of gifting all my interest in the property to your ex (as men often feel they ought to do)?

If it has not gone through fully and legally now, a wise man might be damned if he gives one penny of his interest in said property. Indeed, each penny he gives feeds the monster that is tring to harm him.

Offer her solicitors 40 percent of the market value of her share and tell them you are in a generous mood. Get a bridging loan to cover it and don't forget to evict your squatters!

                          Good luck.

I wasn't sure what "pro loco et tempore" meant so I asked that nice Mr Google who said this:

In Scottish law, it is quite common for a Procurator Fiscal to abandon a case pro loco et tempore, with a view to re-raising it later.

This sounds a bit like and NFA where if fresh compelling evidence comes to light they will re-raise it.

                              It won't be re-indicted.

                              It's been deserted.

                              It's over.

Had the Latin phrase used countless times in recent speeding cases and not a single one of them have been re-raised even with re-offending. They clearly don't have enough evidence.

                              Have your bananas.
