The CPS have to go through the evidential test. This takes time and cases like this need to go through 2 CPS lawyers. A rebail does not necessarily indicate that there is heaps of evidence. Unfortunately you can not second guess how it will go so try not to work yourself up about it.

            • its cleverly written - you know the way its meant - but it can be read that your son forced her.

Either way there's no way she should be contacting you, very silly. Phone your solicitor and make sure you have copies of this.

Please don't mention this facebook text to the police when you will go to the station.
Just keep it for yourself, tell your son not to answer to it and just give a copy to your solicitor and keep one for yourself.
                      Take care.

I know someone close who is like this girl and will never give up.
This is why I wrote to you in the past that the only solution is to be more clever than her.
Don't answer, don't retaliate, just "try to" keep calm (Thank you Casehardened) and just protect yourself and your family.
                      Take care.
                      Non,je ne regrette rien.

The OP's son is not the accused. The OP is.

I cannot see anything in that message that could be construed as her admitting she lied. Screenshot if you like and give to the solicitor. I find it odd that she is now openly trying to contact you when she knows she really should not. Ask your sol if she is committing an offence by doing this. I am not sure that she is as she won't have any conditions to adhere to but worth an ask.

I think the reason he thinks it could be equivalent to an admission of guilt is because she accused him of consensual activity with her, not doing anything against her will; the issue was that she was only twelve years old when she made the accusation so she'd have been four years below the age of consent, so no matter how willing she was to be involved at the time, what she alleges he did would have been illegal. The fact she now says she wouldn't have gone with him means she's contradicting herself.

And it's his son she contacted, not him.
