Can accuser change her statement?

Can accuser ask police or CPS to change her statement or give a new interview if she wants to change her statement?

Will CPS or police take a new one or are they going to accept it and go with old statement? Or will they ask her why she wants to change statement? And if the case goes to court will they provide the previous statement?

If the matter proceeds then the defence should obtain the inconsistent statements and make use of them in cross-examination. They may well end up in what is called the 'unused bundle'.

Thanks for quick reply I will do that in future I am so confused and worried at the momment I can't even write a thing straight and I have no idea of time what and how it is happening I write and delete a sentence several times before I post it, thanks for being there for everyone who answer questions I m trying to get over the feeling of hopelessness

I am sure you are worried and confused - but getting involved with other members may help you feel a little better as you won't feel quite so on your own.

It might be really dangerous for her if she changes her interview for another statement.
Mine did and the police asked her if she wanted to mislead them,I wish they found out that she lying.
