      It means an NFA
      If that's the result you have got then that's fantastic news.

      Ensure you get confirmation (preferably in writing) of this. And expect to feel quite strange afterwards

        I think but am open to correction that

        "no charges preferred"
        "decision not to proceed"

        are both stronger statements that police / CPS think you are innocent than a simple

        "no further action"

        or NFA.....
