Felix, I will confirm that what you say is true.
It will show up on an enhanced CRB

However it will show that an arrest was made and the CPS chose to take no action...which will speak enough volumes for most employers.

As felix says, if he is up front and honest in the section where he is asked to disclose this on the application form, then an employer will no doubt respect that honesty and it shouldn't really affect his employment future.

It is down to the employer at the end of the day but most are quite wise to the fact that false allegations are made. I would hazard a guess that in every school, care home, hospital etc there is at least one member of staff with an NFA to their name.

Also, Denise, check with the OIC that written confirmation is being sent out of this NFA. Most do it automatically but I have had to request mine from my OIC.

It is always useful to have hard copies of everything.

And don't be put off by the bit on the written confirmation that says something like 'this can be reopened at any time'
That is extremely rare and new, really big evidence would have to come up for them to consider that. As the allegation is a load of b*llocks then that is hardly likely to happen.

I just dropped him off from college and we discussed this

He said he will be honest with prospective employers but he also said the DC told him the same that it won't show up

She also told him that the family gave her something a couple of weeks ago that contradicted what they said in the initial interview

So my signature line came true after all, they stumbled on their lies but we could always remember our truths

They did well keeping the lies going as long as they did

I'm convinced their video hung them, and that is why they asked me for pics and videos

I also told then last night that any pics/videos I have they have too as we used to duplicate everything on both pcs in case one broke

The funny part is, the father , in his attempt to get me back after I left him , gave me an extra set of his copy not realising I already had them, he thought seeing us as a family would jolt me to go back to him

It was only after the DC spoke Friday that I looked for them and found everything I needed (but CPS had already made their decision) to present the truth in videos and pics

Yes Faith they are sending out written confirmation

One question; DC said CPS email of the NFA was extremely detailed outlining how they came to make their decision, she said they wil receive a copy, will we get to know every point they raised as to how they decided ?

She also mentioned re opening the case and that it would be silly for them to, as they would need something very significant and if they've had almost a year already to present something, why didn't they do it then

To explain briefly, they went to police @ may last year but my son was on a summer break abroad and we learnt of the allegation when he got back in sept xx

It was the worst week to date that ended up the best week

I honestly got to the stage where I didn't think I could take anymore calls/questions etc
