She said something was said/presented a few weeks ago that weakened their case even more
She said they can re open it but they would have to come up with something pretty significant and questions would be asked as to why now
Bear in mind they went to police about April last year do they've had months to get things together xx

My grandson was born through all this and I've not been the usual silly happy nanny my little granddaughter knows me to be

As of today my children get their jokey mum back and my grandchildren get their silly nanny back

And my darling partner who has believed in us all gets his lover back

They took 5 months of our life away but they can't break the bond we all have and the deep love we all have for each other xx

I didn't ask the question bc I had mentioned it Friday night but she said today that it will not show up, it will only be logged as an allegation at the station involved that was NFA'd because of insufficient back up or words to that effect

But she definitely said it would not affect his working life xx

I owe you all so much, we are all going through this trauma, our connections to it differ to, but the active members here have been amazing to me

Sometimes I would hear things that scared me more, others gave me hope
But more importantly people gave me time and advice and support

That carried me through and even if a can now Only help one person on here, I'll feel my ordeal was somewhat worthwhile xxxxxx

Don't want to dampen the excitement but I think this is poor advice from the Officer. My understanding is that certainly any Sexual Offences arrests even if NFA'd will show up in an enhanced CRB unless the records have been removed by the (discretionary = very rarely happens) powers of the Chief Constable.

At least that is the advice I am working on. Am I wrong?

But, nonetheless, even if it does show up, if your son declares it as a malicious false allegation before the ECRB is requested it is vv unlikely to have any impact on his career. The answer is to be rigorously honest and disclose voluntarily early rather than having to expalin the ECRB entry after it has shown up.

Can that latter advice please be confirmed by Safron and others with personnel expereince?

This may not be true if an arrest did not occur but only an attendence at Police Station for questioning or helping with enquiries???

Oh Denise, I cried seeing your NFA short message! I wasnt online so much and have to read back until I saw your NFA!! Oh I am so happy.. please dont be sad about anything anymore. You have a lifetime to be happy about the grandson.. he wont be aware of it now anyway :-) Oh please please just enjoy life and be back to happy Denise for your lover and family! lots of hugs! your NFA lift my spirits up as Faith NFA's did and the more NFA and not guilty verdict I hear of I get stronger..am sure it would be the same for others.
