If your asked to attend a police station for a voluntary interview and questioned about someone making a statement saying that i raped them and they didnt bail me or charge me does this mean they believe my account of what happened or is this normal procedure? thanx dan.

If they look at your statement and decide that there is enough to charge you with - then they will be back.
