thankyou for the offer, i am due to speak to my own solicitor, later today, so i will hopefully be a bit wiser, and then come back with any information. but if there are no obligations and just purely checking the situation out, that would be good thanks

still not heard from solicitor, but i was means tested, so that maybe the reason, they are saying i have to pay the difference. between the 2 of us we earn about 30.000 per annum. plus i have a pension worth about 2.000 per annum. this is all before tax. i have been told the cut off point is about 22.000. but still innocent, where is the justice.

ps i am hearing rumours that the eldest girl has confessed. dont know if it is true. but things coming out that were not public knowledge. so not sure

If she HAS confessed then she will be going to jail...

If one goes then the other will most likely join her...

No CICA payout will be winging its way to them then...

It probably hurts BAD to have had this happen and involving people that at one time were so close but it will be a partial lifter of the remaining weights on your mind.

hi all, just to let you know, i received a letter this morning demanding payement for court costs. the letter was from rossendales, they collect the money on behalf of legal services. i rang them and found them very helpful. i explained what had happenned, and the fact that i had been found not guilty on all charges. they told me that i did not qualify for free legal aid, but as long as it was confirmed by legal services that i was aquitted on all charges that was the end of the matter, and i would not be hearing from them again. so fingers crossed, hopefully it is another step away from this very hurtful part of our lives. so many thanks to every one that has offered help and comfort to us inthis matter. and if there is anything that i have passed on that helps one innocent person, at all, then i am very happy. good luck to all who are falsely accussed, i have been there and thought the worst but never gave up, :

Hopefully you will get that in writing very soon to put your mind completely at rest. If you don't hear from them say, in a week, ring them again and ask if they would be so kind as to put that in writing "for your records".

I thought you having to continue paying even though the case was over sounded very wrong!!
