So I would be going back to see him in the new year
To be honest I feel much more confident in this team and Im feeling

Were you hoping they might find something detrimental to the accuser? If so unless there is a direct link to the case the judge may well rule the findings as inadmissible.
On the other hand if they find she has made a previous false accusation this would be extremely useful.

You may have a problem if you are claiming public funding, if you intend to pay for the PI privately. You cannot do both.
You might get public funding to pay for a PI but it is unlikely due the cuts, unless the sol/barrister can put together a good argument so they can claim for this.

Defence can request such info from the Crown who have to disclose any false allegations made officially to the police.
