Yep but these stories can provoke a false allegation.

The problem with these FA storylines on soaps is that they do not go far enough in that the false accuser is sent to prison. In the Eastenders storyline the character Ben was treated with sympathy. If they followed the story through to a decent conclusion it might make would-be false accusers think twice.

I know for a fact that (the character) Kat Moon's storyline was used by at least one liar in her testimony.

Sorry to hear you're still in limbo;it's easier to get going on planning a defence when you know the court dates.

Hopefully your solicitor is keeping you updated!

Sadandlonely, what an incredibly tough time you are going through and the waiting is the worst of the worst.
              You've gotten this far though
Did you ever see a GP...counselling or some medication may at least take the edge off.

              Take care.

no - don't agree to this at all - ever.

You are innocent - to plea bargain means you will be stained for life by this false allegation.

In a lot of cases is shows that they are shaky ground and aren't sure they will get a guilty.

                    Do not agree.

Plea bargains are usually offered by the prosecution if they feel that you are unlikely to convicted.
Your legal team have an obligation to point out that if you plead guilty you might get a lesser sentence.
However, as the case is due to be heard next week, it is unlikely that a guilty plea at this late stage will give a substantial reduction in sentence.
I would urge you not to consider a guilty plea.

I agree completely with Saffron and RFLH
DO NOT accept a plea bargain
