  • what do you think of these tactics

I have been charged with several counts of historic rape all.... false .Juries convict the innocent on one persons word.

If you had substantial evidence that the accuser told lies on some of the rape allegation would it be better to with hold this evidence back for the appeal and let the judges decide if she was telling the truth .I know you would serve 6 months but better than 10 years for something you did not do . what do you think

I see your logic, but unfortunately that evidence is available right now. You can't hide it for x number of months and suddenly claim it's only just come to light.
Just because the other side lie, doesn't mean you can.

If you have it, I would advise using it. At the trial.

let your solicitor Know and give any evidence to him/Her. Do not give it to Plod or the CPS as it mght get "lost". You must go in all guns blazing and fight, please understand that the police and CPS will lie, cheat andif neccesary steal to get your conviction.
We had to force the CPS to remove evidence that they intended to use against my son and evidence that supported his version of events was removed by the cps. we were told 2 weeks before trial that she had made a previous false allegation, apparently the cps did not think it was something that mattered.

All good advice plus most appeals take a lot longer than 6 months.............

          meeting solicitor soon

solicitor says I have a good few valid points to make but it is like spitting in the wind what ever evidence I have juries will convict on just someones word.also when it hits the newspapers you could people i have never heard of making allegations to get vast amounts of money in c c awards.if these cases had time limits there would be evidence to prove the case or to disprove it.The court of human rights needs to address this problem of guilty until proven innocent.I can understand why the accused may takes their own life because of the hopelessness of it all ,even then this is taken as a sign of guilt

If you can establish a really strong motive for the accuser making false allegations you are half way there.

Too many people are asked "why would she/he lie about such a serious subject?"

"I don't know" won't do you any favours.
