  • Son falsely accused of rape

    Please Help!
My 17 year old son was accused of rape. He says it was consentual, and I believe him.... we're waiting for results of the rape kit.
Does anyone know how long it takes to get these results back?
I'm assuming it will show if force was used and if seman was found (he said he never ejaculated and did not actually enter the girl).
This is turning into a huge nightmare for our family and the waiting around is killing us.

          Thank You Billy.

He certainly has our support. My son knows the difference between lying to me and telling me the truth. There is a big difference in my reaction. No matter what he's done, he's always been honest with me. He and I have a great relationship and I hate to say it, but he holds me up as much as I do him. He's the greatest kid. He knows that as long as he tells me the truth, there isn't anything I wouldn't do for him.

everyday you will get stronger. believe me i have gone through every emotion known to man. i never wanted to visit my son in prison because i knew i would break down and watching my son go through every emotion as well broke my heart .but i have come out fighting now. and getting stronger by the day. i have never give up fighting to prove his innocence and hopefully get the appeal we want ..

              Hi Moil8
sorry to see you on here, i went through something similar with my son 2 years ago. I am afraid it is a long haul, the forensics will take around 12 weeks to come back once the police send them off. In my sons case they were sent off about a month after they had been taken. He was accused in november and the forensics were sent off middle december, finally got the results in mid March for a trial in april. Please understand that the Police and CPS are NOT on your side, they are only interested in a conviction at any price and will lie, cheat, bend the rules, forget where evidence is, and do anything they can to achieve their aim of conviction. Get your son to write down everything he can remember about what happened, get a copy of his statement if you can and go through it. If he is charged, bug the hell out of the Solicitor to get the forensics and her statement as early as possible. there are plenty of people on here who cn offer very good advice including where to get a good solicitor. has your son been interviewed ? and if he was did he have an appropriate adult with him, not just a solicitor Good Luck
