Laugh at your problems, everybody else does. The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on the list.

Shall do. I am under no illusions that i may get no further than a 'the police and cps acted in a correct manner' however, i can be rather persistant when i want to be

Well, as i suspected, the letter from Avon and Somerset Constabulary arrived today. Contains the usual stuff about how the police always believe the accuser etc etc and that the OIC acted in a way according to his role within the investigation.
It also contained a lot of legal bumf about how the CPS pursue a trial based upon good evidence, in this case, 2 statements that refer to bruises on an arm of which neither witness could corrobarate an even vaguely similar account. That is all the CPS based their charging decision on and ended up costing the Bristol taxpayers thousands of pounds (i believe it was in the region of £145,000 although i dont know if this is exact)
I guess its time to step up to the plate and get my game on. No, i have no legal training except a few years as a part time constable but i have the mental strength now to keep taking this for as long as it takes. I will not back off after a seemingly 'yes you are aggreived but we did everything correctly' letter from the plod, now, we kick it up a gear

Im very interested in this, i have a post in this forum explaining what i have been through last week after getting a call out of the play about an incident 7 years ago!

So far i haven't been arrested but i attend voluntarily at a police station in the same region you have had your case handled it appears.

Im too very angry at the fact the hurt and pain and lack of responsibly for the actions these lies can cause.

Although i need to first make sure 10000% that this case goes no further or indeed it goes to trial and i get cleared.

part of me wants it to go to trial so i get cleared of the FA rather than the stigma of a FA with not enough evidence to prosecute etc.

I also want to see her squirm on trial under hard questioning about the situation and how she can remember certain things and not important things such as the location of the flat i lived in! She left in the morning after coming back for a drunk one night stand...an ex boyfriend was involved and it appears this is the reason for her to lie to protect her own relationship with getting back with him!

I fear im going off topic here...but below is the link from my first post

            http://www.daftmoo.org.uk/mooforum/s...pe-7-years-ago!

This site is sooooo good to know your not in a FA alone! And good to vent frustration and put my thoughts in to words!!

good luck with the complaint and follow up after your successful defense of a FA, I hoping to cleanse some info from you after im in a postiton to turn my FA into a claim against her!!

I understand some say to move on and not waste time over a potential fruitless excersise but if everybody did this where would we be....this needs to be a level playing field!!

Unfortunately, due to the laws in this country, unless she admits to lying or it is clearly obvious she is lying or her defense is really flawed, then you will have no comeback to counter prosecute (if i am incorrect, please feel free to say )
I am doing everything without cost as i cant afford to pay anything out as ex made sure of that. If it goes to trial, all i wish is that you have a reliable and strong Barrister.
Mine was awesome and she made sure that even under section 51 (if i recall correctly) that states an accusers past cannot be bought up in court as it may show her/him in a bad light, the judge and the jury knew what my ex was like (after being told off by the judge a few times for wavering on the very thin line lol)
