The woman reported the rape which was a man who was unknown 2 her. This resulted in a child. Police ran a check 4 potential fathers on the local area police database. My partner then was arrested even tho the DNA was inconclusive.

So there was other evidence: the word of the complainant.

        Has he been convicted?

The complainant said she was raped by an unknown random attacker and gave a discription that couldn't be any more opposite 2 my partner if tried. She didn't accuse him the police DNA database did that. He was arrested and after 3 days charged, bailed out of the city 2 await trial. Further testing cleared him but only after 6 wks away from his family and after he self harmed due 2 the pressure.

The complainant's evidence is still "evidence", as such.

Are you now saying that the matter has been dropped/ NFA'd or "No-Crimed?"

We got a call from his solicitor saying the DNA had been further tested and it could not have been my partner.
