Hi guys. I dont know how conserned should I be. Please give me your thoughts: Tonight I saw a girl in the Walmart parking lot. She asked me for money for gas. I have seen them in the past so I assumed it was either for drugs or some kind of scam. Stupid me went with an argument with her on how I would buy her the gas but I wouldnt give her cash and as she kept asking for cash I called her a liar and bla bla bla She said she was 17 (No way) and that if I didnt give her 20 dollars she would say I tried to rape her. I didnt even touch her. I didnt give her the money either. She said she has my licence plate number. Should I return and talk to the police if they are there? Should I wait? Should I be concerned?

Personally, I would. I'd tell the cops she's trying it on, give as much detail as poss - as a concerned citizen - before she does someone some real harm.

I will, if they are after me they will get me anyway. But do you think I should call a lawyer and be prepared to be taken into custody or something like that? I really dont know how bad it is, but for what I understand the sistem is very one sided and they believe the girl always and take you without proof. Then you get out but you are taken anyway. I just want to know how ready should I be for something like that.

From your vocabulary & mention of Walmart, I guess you are in the USA.

Things work slightly different there so any advice we might give will be from the perspective of the UK legal system and might not be relevant to yours.

My personal opinion is that the girl is a beggar/scammer and won't go to the police (but if you're concerned I suggest talking to a lawyer rather than the police)
