Great news about the NFA! And congraulations on the birth of your little boy xx

I echo what Faith has said - please be careful. An NFA means exactly that - No Further Action. It does not mean that Plod believe she lied, or that they think your partner is innocent. Any attempt to blacken her name or expose her identity will be taken very seriously by them, and could result in contempt proceedings, or even Plod re-opening the rape allegation.

I know it sounds crazy, and believe me I felt exactly the same as you! I wanted to write to our accuser's employers and tell them exactly what a devious, manipulative little B1tch they had on their payroll. (I didn't in the end because my hubby was convicted, albeit unjustly.)

I would suggest that your best course of action is to make a formal complaint to Plod about the false allegation. Then write to your MP and explain that you have made a complaint to the Police about this woman. Make sure you tell the police that your MP is aware of the complaint.

You are now all-too-aware that an NFA is not the end of the ordeal, emotionally. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of ups and downs.

Keep coming back if you need to. It really does help to be among others who know what you have been through.

      That's good news.

You will need to see why it was dropped and push for the answers. His 'record' will most likely still show the allegation so you will need to go about having it removed if the circumstances allow.
      Wow... A signature option!

Faith and Saffron, you're absolutely right - I will not do anything that might jeopardise the situation we are in now - free. First need to find out all the facts and see how / IF we can move on from there, but wont even do that if I feel it will drain me of positive energy.

However, she does work in a bar these days, so an anon tip to manager that she sold me fake drugs could be an alternative end to my involvement...

Well at the end of the day, if she is working in a bar then she's in the environment where she is possibly going to make more allegations. One day she may well make an allegation about someone more dangerous than herself...let her get herself into trouble.
