I had false claims made against me by my girlfriend.....basically she was having an affair and now she has told the police that she made everything up.

Anyway my kids was with her now the social services have told her that there going to court to remove them from her care.

Basically i should be allowed to have them in my care as i have done nothing wrong.

I can't really offer any advice but I didn't want to leave you waiting. Have you taken legal advice? Many solicitors offer a free half hour.

sorry to hear you are in this position. Others more experienced may be along with better advice.

Firstly have you spoken to the SW or their manager to explain that you would like residence for your children. Given the financial constraints on social services, if they can avoid the cost of civil proceedings and ongoing costs of long term care, they will probably consider your proposal.

Do you have parental responsibility? Was your name on the children's birth certificates?

The suggestion of a family solicitor is a good one.
