I really am so sorry 4 missing u, i checked my mobile and the number i txt'd was wrong. I hope u r feeling better and would really like 2 meet up, please let me know when u r free and please can i pay 4 any out of pocket costs u had. My car shud have been finished at 10-30 but thats done and gone now. Just another screwed up thing this last week that has gone wrong.

Hi - Glad to hear you are in fighting spirit. Well done in getting the contract for the house in your name, you probaly don't need to worry about insurance as if the house is in your name only then there is no reason for you to disclose anything.

I am still waiting for ours to get to the single judge - seems to take forever, it's not helping that I have made a complaint against the Solicitors that represented us, as they are not talking to me atall now and my understanding is that I can't appoint anybody new untill it gets there!!
Pleased to hear that you are in control and enjoy your visit - from my expeerience i have learnt to be really positive and tell my hubbie thats everything is fine for us otherwise he was just overloading on stessing for us.

Kermits visit

I have not been great since coming back from seeing my kermit, he was unshaven, scared and does not understand how with no evidence , all the lies stated by his accuser and her sister in court being proved as well with evidence he produced, yet he is still on remand awaiting sentence. Its almost like he is a small child not knowing why he is being punished for something he did not do!
I tried 2 explain he will be sentenced then an appeal is going in! he was not given a fair trial as the judge disallowed anything my family, Kermit and my daughter and her friends were told of other sexual rapes and assaults she told us about, it was dimissed as hear say, so 3 of kermits witnesses were not allowed to take the stand. I was not allowed to tell the court what she reported 2 me about her home life and the fact she asked 2x to come live with us and the 3rd was begging me to get kermit to allow her to come live with us, judge disallowed it as hear say. The police never interviewed me, that was not explained why not, she changed her statement 3xs each contridicting the other jury were not told this. He will understand soon his solicitor is going to see him in the next week and both our families are trying to help him get through this. We are all trying to get him to pick himself up and start fighting.
My dad and a friend of ours went in to see him, we got him some chocolate and a coke, my heart cried inside when his eyes lit up at the site of a chocolate bar. His 1st letter was so heart breaking, he has been calling every moment he is allow, his voice is so quiet, i have been telling him of my day , what my daughter has been doing in her exams and how she thinks she went. I sent him pictures of me, his family, our garden (he works so hard at our garden) A friend of mine is a photographer and has removed kermits face and replaced it with kermit the frog pic. I joined emailaprisoner.com and email him everyday as well, all our friends have done the same.
He called today saying he went to church yesterday and prayed the truth will come out, i told him to hang on to his prayers.
Its cold outside and raining hard, it feels the same inside its so empty here at home, tears inside me. I feel i have invaded his office, going through everything that he would deal with. The lying decietful b..ch has so much to answer for but right now getting kermit's appeal is our focus.
Sorry if im babbling i feel so alone and lonely.

Glad you got to see Kermit, and that you've got the fight in you. Looking at the posts above you've got the right people around you, Saffron's been where you are, and I'd want an RF around too.
You're not alone.

Sounds like he's in a local nick and will probably go to a longer-term one in a month or so. Could be Albany on Isle of Wight, Littlehey in Cambridgeshire or Usk in Wales, or Grendon. Either way, these are all relaxed prisons not local holding cells, and conditions etc are usu a bit better. Might give him a bit of hope.

Sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment. But you are doing everything right. You are being strong and solid for Kermit, which is what he needs. It sounds like you have got a great support network - make sure you lean on the people around you.

Kermit, we can arrange a meeting this Thursday if you like - must be late morning or lunch/early afternoon.

I cannot emphasize how helpful the prison chaplain can be. Not only will Kermit get out of his cell if he volunteers to work there, he will also be able to mix with others protesting their innocence (they can sometimes be found in the chapel) and of course some chaplains are really sympathetic to those falsely accused.

What is the news on an appeal?

Dear Mrs K. I'm so glad you got to see your Kermit, your heart must have been torn to shreds to see him like that. He must be absolutely terrified and your strength with give him the courage to do what needs to be done. I'm quite sure he understand you going in his office, you need to sort things out so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Lean on your friends and family, you need them more than ever. Keep posting on here love, you're doing a great job, and your love for Kermit and your daughter will get you all through this. You are all in my prayers.

Beyond reasonalable doubt RUBBISH

Just reading this thread. I am so sorry to hear this. I always thought and was told British justice was best in world. I wonder now. I can't work out though if it one word against the others how can it be proved beyond all reasonable doubt.

Kermits, mine, 4 other witnesses to things she stated when visiting here in 2009 word against hers .. what she said the judge allowed jury to hear, the stuff she told us all last year and other things she stated about her home life INADMISSABLE DISMISSED and jury were not told 3/4 of evidence against her story. WHY? because she stood on the stand and said "oh no i never said that " or " oh well yes i may have but not seriously" . When asked had she ever asked to live with us she denied it, when pushed by defence she finally admitted she had said it but did not mean it,so all of us are liars according to prosecution. WELL SCREW THEM MYSELF MY FAMILY KERMITS FAMILY FRIENDS ALL FIGHTING FOR HIM.

No dna, no forensics done 4 blood on our bed or bedding, kermits latop never been checked , i was never questioned by police and my daughter has always refuted what the lying bi.ch said. SO DONT BELIEVE IN BRITISH JUSTICE IS BALLS x

Hi everyone im so angry

Hi all , Kermit sends says "hi" he is going back down again! We have been searching facebook and other sites that ***** goes on and have matched up other facebook friends and family comments off their main open pages matching comments on hers that she has made about lots of things that she said in court are not true, and she would never do this that or say that or this.. lying ***** her facebook is full of stuff!

Kermit is going down hill so much, we get him back up then he is down again, i have not been able to get to see him as v/o's have taken ages to come in post! Been 14days now since he seen anyone! I have a v'o now it came today and am going 2 book in asap.

He calls me everyday but there is so much sadness in his voice. His solicitor is working with the barrister on how they attack the appeal but no one has been to see him apart from his family and mine, he is going nuts. I tried to explain that the defence are talking to us ( Me my family and his family) but to fly down to see him with only a small amount of information is no good. But i do understand he has not seen them only had 2 letters of them trying to explain what happens next after sentence!
The lying ***** has contacted me and my daughter again ( twice now since kermit was found guilty) I cant say what exactly she has said but already she is retracting some things she said on a video statement that was shown to the jury! Which would have swayed their decision to guilty! Is that Purgery?

What i dont understand is , i have printed it and all facebook comments with matching up other peoples comments to her statements on facebook. Another witness has come forward and written to Kermits solicitor, stating things that she denied in court and the judge disallowed 3 witnesses to take the stand as she said she never said things like what the 3 witnesses were saying! So the accusser says they never said something and that's it , it's taken as they never said it and them 3 witnesses cannot take the stand and the judge says its hearsay!

Is this new evidence, Kermit is freaking out from a strong man that went to work everyday and loved his job home and family, to a man crying and trapped in a nightmare as he describes it against a system that goes so slowly!

We have been told an investigation could be possible against her, as the stuff we have is compelling but Kermit will stay in prison a convicted rapist whilst appeals and possible investigations are looked at, and how long will that take, few months or years, i bet if the police do an investigation it will be slowly done... why why why we have evidence Everything we said in court was truthful . Sorry all im going mad here I pray every day and night to st jude. Can anyone advise ? Kermits girlfriend x

RF's the one to advise on what's appeal material etc, Mrs K.

Sadly, any investigations by plod will rarely take place while there is someone locked up for it, so I would not hold your breath for the police to have any interest in the other party having committed perjury.
The reality is that all your efforts should be put into gathering evidence that the conviction was unsound, unsafe, or to find fresh evidence clearing him and for his appeal team to construct a case for the court.
Whether evidence of her being a liar fits that criteria, I can't advise. Mine told lots of lies, and was caught doing so in court, yet no one batted an eyelid. Perjury, perverting the course of justice is fine, but get them to look into a miscarriage of justice? Pah.

I'm sorry i can't advise on legal stuff. All i can say is i hope this lying evil b---- gets all that she deserves. Kermit must be terrified, and my heart truly goes out to him, and you. Hopefully someone will be along shortly to advise. You are in my prayers
