    He's not yet been charged has he? Most solicitors can't help until public funding kicks in (after charge) and although some will offer advice prior to that, because no paperwork is forthcoming there will be no detail of what your lad is facing.

    If your current sol is offering advice I'd stick with him and if you feel confident then continue, should your lad be charged. Any advice offered before charge is basically in general as to what to expect.

        this is just awful for all of you, try to support each other the best you can through this. your wife must think she is in a living nightmare, i know i did. Make the most of all the resources available, here, gp, samaritans, friends and family. Let us know how things go
