Accused of rape

Back in August one of my ex work collegues met up on a sunday night and went out for a few drinks ended up back at the hotel we worked at and dared eachother to go for a swim. Stupid I know but the following day I was arrest on an accusation of rape by my work collegue. I was held for 20 hours tested and interviewed and then relised with out charge but put on a police bail during the investigation to avoid intimerdation of witness. I have since been rebailed to the 6th Dec the investigating officer turned up at my house and delivered the extension of bail and said that all the dna test have returned and they were all negative and that the women is now trying to claim she had a black out and cant remember anything. So with no dna and drug related dna what will happen next?! Worried like most and dont know what to expect.please advise I would be much appreciated.

So from remembering she's been raped she's now decided she cannot remember anything?

I do hope she is prosecuted for wasting police time - however, no DNA does not mean that the case cannot proceed. The Charge (if you are charged) could change from rape to attempted rape.
