    I don't know, LS. You are articulate and intelligent, so I can't say. Hedgecroft did say in his original post that he had a "good" police officer....presumably he meant that OIC wasn't hell-bent on a conviction at any cost, but was more interested in the truth. They are not all like that.

      Would like to point out that the OIC that dealt with our son was also very good, I think reading others threads on here, that we were VERY lucky as all to often this is not the case.

        With respect LS, your case was slightly different in relation to one certain aspect. That could be one reason why they pursued you to the nth degree - plus of course you had the accuser's father to contend with.

        The woman in H's case was, I believe, working alone in her allegations.
