Well, it wasn't on. Maybe it has been edged out by the Hunt for Raoul Moat

Mmmm. I'm afraid to say it, but our subject is last week's news now. I think because the debate will go on in parliament there'll be another day when it'll be in the news, and if Dave's got his soundbites done then he'll be able to put them in at the right time.

I sat there all expectant - perhaps another day.

                  Hi all,
i'm so sorry - my bosses decided at the last minute to postpone the material until today. I can confirm it IS now being broadcast.
I welcome any feedback or further suggestions at dave.howard.01@bbc.co.uk
                  Regards,

                    Hi Dave

I haven't heard the broadcast yet, but have seen the article on the Newsbeat website. Seems pretty well-balanced to me, although I would dispute some of the figures used. 80% of rapes go unreported? That sounds incredibly unlikely. I would be interested to know where that figure came from.

Interesting as well that you state between 3 and 9% of reported rapes turn out to be false. Are these figures based on those which result in a conviction for Perverting the COJ, or just an NFA?

I am also interested to know why you named Grant, but not the girl who FA'd him. She has been convicted, so she can be named.

On the whole, pretty interesting to see a report from an "outsider" (I don't mean that in a derogatory way, I hope you never have to join our ranks!)

                    Saffron

David, |'d like to talk to you about this matter and others associated with it.

I've been running a (private members only) online support forum since 2004 and helping to review trial paperwork for appeal against conviction since late 2002 and can put you in touch with several people I KNOW to be innocent and currently serving time, and who have been named on the Chris Wittwer Facebook pages and on the notorious Ratbook.

This does not only affect the falsely accused and their families but also the innocent families of the guilty.

It is only a matter of time before somebody is murdered due to being named in the press.

I am away from the office attending a family funeral and will be able to email you properly once I am back on my main computer.

                      Hope that's ok!

                        Dear Rights Fighter,
I'd be very interested in chatting further - could even meet for a coffee sometime if that's easy?
Just get in touch when things are calmer.
                        Regards
                        Dave

I am not sure when I am in London next but it will probably be to attend an appeal - unless - I know it's short notice - but I will be passing through Waterloo around noon tomorrow on my way back.
