And very pleased that he didn't need a 'nasty bag'
And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the world. Then made the world round .... and laughed and laughed and laughed ..
Bloody hell, RF, I'm pie-eyed from those fireworks. Tsk, should be a law against those....
Congratulations Lisa, on your bf's result. As you say, at least he's home and no time to do. I don't know the ins and outs of his career to say whether they can stop him working just due to the SOR, but may be as well to start up on his own.
Phew! Soooo pleased to hear he isn't facing a prison sentence. Maybe the judge understood...I know he did in our case.
Anyhow, I am so pleased that your children don't now need to live without their dad.
Now is the time to get cracking on that appeal. Go for it!
thats brilliant news! sounds like the judge had his head screwed on.

hi there , i have just been reading some of the cases onthis site and decided i had to join, my father has been accused of rape or sexual assault with my next door neighbours mother which apparently took place last year, bearing in mind that the woman in question is in her 60s and my father in his 50s, my father has never liked the woman even as a person since i moved in there 5yrs ago, the trouble is she has changed her story several times about dates and what happened. I know this may look like a simple case to answer, but its causing major problems for me as i live next door to her, she has not involved the police as yet , but i am worried for my mum and dad, i know my dad very well and know he would never do a thing like that . she came to our house absolutely blind drunk on sunday and told my partner, so we thought it was just another drunken moment of madness (which she has on many occasions), but the next day when i confronted her she told me that my father owed her an apology????? any thoughts please????
There is not a fat lot he can do at the moment. If he goes to the police they will raise a case (or try to raise a case) against him in order to help top up rape conviction targets.
Is there a mutual friend who could talk to this woman when she is completely sober?
unfortunatley not, but since the accusation was first announced , i have put a six ft fence around my garden and neither of us have spoken to each other, i hope this may just result in us falling out and not speaking again , rather than the police being involved
