    me to

worried father, you can count me in, although due to the circumstances with our son I don't think he could cope with any publicity, but if I can contribute in any way let me know.

cant do anything until after the trial.... but we can tell our stories without identifying ourselves. i have a disabled son who has downs so i would want to protect him as well. However if we can get the message across that not only does the accused suffer but also his family and his friends as well. there are a lot of traumatic stories on here. if we each press our friends and families to get their mps to raise this it would get a lot of mps asking questios. the standard of investigation varies from police force to police farce. we as the public have a lot of power.

        The News

        All

I have just been informed that I have a NFA and that I can collect my belongings - so for me its over.

I need to tell all of you on this site how humbled I am to have had your support - you are good people - Witsend you have been really nice - everyone else you have been fab as well.

The bad news is that this will continue until someone deals with these people and I will be making a significant contribution to a charity that manages this sort of stuff this week.

That was the worse 3 months of my life - I only ever told 3 people the truth and have informed them its now over for me.

Am I angry ? Yes livid - but until the government changes the way it does things and how men are treated in rape cases then I will remain livid. I will never forget this experience and I know that for some people on this site its ongoing and the pain is a living hell - my thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

Again thanks and if you don't mind I will stay on here and contribute where I can.

Wonderful news Constant. This is not the end by any means, but at least you know that you are not facing trial by 12 strangers.
Please learn frmo this experience - don't get involved with anyone you do not know and trust 100%.
You might find that things are tough for you over the next months. We will still be here for you.

            For now, enjoy your freedom!

Great news, Constant. It's certainly the outcome you should have expected. How the cps thought for a moment that this case had any legs, esp with the HIV claim.
Try not to let the anger and bitterness eat you up, and please keep coming back. There are always people in your situation (unfortunately). We can only hope the new government takes a fresh look at how we're treated.

Great news! You'll feel on a big high for a short while then you'll get really conflicting emotions kicking in.

Keep coming back because you will need the support here when that happens.

I would first of go to the police station and ask for her to be charged. If they do not charge her, then contact your mp www.writetothem.com and get him or her to put pressure on plod. if they still do nothing, then contact your local paper and see if they are interested , but only if you think you are strong enough. if you kick up a big enough fuss, something will get done

Dear Constant. Understand how you are feeling! we thought things would get back to "normal" when our sons case was NFA'd, oh how wrong could we have been. It does seem to get a little better with every passing day. Bet you feel exhausted by this awful awful experience. It seems to have taken me ages to find the energy to get my s..t together. Now I am in the process of trying to get my son's police record destroyed by writing to the Chief Constable and our MP, not holding out much hope but have to try. Will take it further if I have no joy. PLEASE make some time for yourself, and once you feel up to it you may be able to make a decision as to what you want to do next.
