If you do not have the paperwork from the hospital I suggest you ask for copies. These you can make copies of yourself and give the police one copy. That evidence they cannot tamper with.

police have just rang us at 20.05 asking us to go to the station to sign a consent form so they can get the medical history about his broken wrist , managed to find out the girl was interviewed on weds afternoon but thats all they would say.so at least now something seems to be happening .

It seems they are taking his version seriously about the wrist.

Keep praying for the right result!

I agree with RF - their request for medical history on his wrist is a good sign.
            Fingers crossed, thinking of you.

update : the case has been handed over to another officer from the two that originally interviewed my son , dont know if thats standard procedure or not , when we went to the police station last night we had a quick word with her , she confirmed that there was NO violence or attack mentioned in the girls statement, its about consent , he apparently held her hands and forced her to have sex and she didnt want to , dont know how hes supposed to manage that with one hand , weve also managed to get on her facebook page and weve printed off all her statuses from the week before the alleged incident and she never mentions anything , just all girly stuff bout going out with mates etc ...and messages to boys , the day of her interview with police ( weds) she wrote Halo tonightttt..... love ittt ) halo is a under 18 disco in the town centre... the day after her interview she wrote 'most embarresing day ever last night.......loved the ending though feel a bit sick but prob out later with the girrrllllsssss .....
hope the police can see through her .

by the way the investigating officer asked was there any outstanding features bout his cast , ?? sure was it was shocking pink and from his wrist to his elbow !!!! im sorta thinkin maybe she didnt mention it in her interview or she said she didnt notice it ....would the police of mentioned it during her interview or would they of just got her version of events ? would she of been grilled like my son was , good cop bad cop etc or would she of had an easy ride ? sorry for so many questions but i cant help thinking that they should of realised who was telling the truth by now.

I'd have thought that she'd have mentioned that!

Hopefully this will go nowhere, but its always wise to prepare for the worst and then if anything happens, you can go onto autopilot with your plans mapped out.

It does seem odd that the one thing that is so obvious has been missed out. It hardly bodes well for a convincing 'victim'.

we have been trying to sort things out bout the case , dates times etc , weather conditions ( if it had been raining etc and she had been held down she would of been slightly dirty etc) and we realised we hadnt been given any dates , the police just said bout 5 weeks ago , so i rang them to ask what date the incident occured , they said the girl didnt know what date it was she just said around 5 weeks ago...... i said surely she would know what date she had been raped and the officer she was sorry but she couldnt comment .......its like summat off corronation street . i mean its not like trying to remember when you last had an ice cream , .

my experience of being interviewed (as a victim) is that there is only a good cop but they are very thorough, going over every single detail about the course of events multiple times (first in free recall by the victim and then with the police officer asking questions to clarify and expand). they asked me about what he looked like i.e. build, hair, clothes, facial hair, distinguishing marks (scars, tattoos etc) and about the position of his arms/legs at different points. it would seem odd if at no point she mentioned he had his arm in a cast because that would have an impact on the way he was moving etc and there would certainly be more than a few things the police officer would have asked that you would expect would have triggered her memory of his cast (distinguishing features is an obvious one).

I entirely agree with you WP. In my own case the allegee couldn't remember the date, time, clothing either she or I wore, couldn't also describe anything personal. When it came to a place, she tried a number of different places in court before the judge said he wasn't fussed where particularly.
My then-partner's mother said that you remember every single detail of the "first time" never mind if it's a rape, so this should be etched into her memory surely.
It's like a postcode and police/cps lottery - if you're in an honest area the cps will hopefully drop it like a hot brick once they realise her/their case is starting to look like swiss cheese.
Also, having A Cast on is obvious enough but a BIG PINK ONE? If this isn't dropped, I don't know what else could constitute an affront to common sense.

like i said before , i dont know if she mentioned the cast or not in her interview but it just seemed strange the police asking about features on it , it just made me think that they thought we were lying or maybe it was just a small cast that she hadnt seen , it feels to me like the girl is treating this like a game . shes going clubbing and days out at blackpool as if nothings happened , surely if she had been raped the last thing she would wanna do is go clubbing .... or maybe cos im a man i dont understand properly . my boy is also a victim in this , he has to go to school on monday , the same school as the girl goes to , he will be hearing the whispers and seeing the pointed fingers , i asked him if he wanted to stay off and he said ive done nothing wrong , im not hiding from anything. i wish i had the same faith in the british justice system that he has .

What the accuser wrote on the FB before she made the allegations or before the alleged assault is irrelevant. It's what she put afterwards - the day of the interview is interesting.

You need to save the pages as screenshots (make sure you hide your Favourites as they will show) and save them into Word or a word processing programme together with the link to her account.

She might change her comments and status if she thinks her FB is being monitored. I do hope the investigating police officers are not monitoring this site otherwise you could be in trouble.

Somebody (partner of the accused) from the private forum had been spouting off on their FB account. I tried to warn her that this could cause problems but I was then accused of "laying down the law".

Not long afterwards the police arrived at her front door to arrest her - the accuser had seen her posts up on FB and notified the police, telling them that he felt she was threatening him. The police took away her computer and that meant they took away all the work she had done for her partner's defence.

Be careful what you say on here. Better safe than sorry.
