need help and advice please

sorry if i have upset anyone i was simply asked by worried father to give you an update re his circumstances. he did not want me to just put it on a post as he was made aware in court that the police had recorded everything he had posted on here so he asked that i pass onto RF his details to make contact if that is ok did'nt want to offend anyone.

This is a good reason for Moo to make the forum a private one so that plods can't just come in and trawl.

WorriedFather was last on a week ago, so the only thing I can again suggest is if Truth permits me to give RF his email address and she can contact him direct.

I could email Truth myself, but I guess he wants the fewest people in the loop as poss.

I think, LS that the public (which includes the police of course) can still view the posts on this forum - they just cannot post themselves.

RF is right, plod can see everything that is written, they just can't post. I think LS was referring to making it completely private, in the same way as PAFAA/SOFAP.

Saffron's right, that's the thought which crossed my mind. An opening page, and then everything beyond that is open only to members, as in PAFAA. It would keep the trolls out.

I'm also worried as to why WF can't reply. It was his son who was in the frame, not he, so I'm wondering what's up too.

Saffron - it seems to be Worried Father who the new member is trying to help. I seem to remember I had invited WF to join the private forum some time ago. He didn't join so I cannot help him from there either.

it appears i have caused some confusion i have been asked by the lad who's started this thread whos case did indeed start on monday if that makes sense to update you re his case if it is too difficult for me to pm anyone being that i am new on here i will obtain his log in details when i next speak with him and log on as him for the purpose of passing on the information unless you can assist me in any other way.

update from need help is that he was found guilty and sent to hmp durham remanded by the judge for 3 weeks pending his sentence. what i understand is that not all the evidence he had was used. RF he has asked that i supply you with his contact details for you to make contact if that is ok with you ?

That would mean my contact details would end up going into the prison - best to do it via the sol I work for.

What does his trial sol and barrister say about appealing?

i understand that need help asked for an appeal as soon as he was found guilty. his legal team are sticking with him as they are confident that he is innocent. RF how can he get in conntact with you as i understand he very much respects your advice along with LS and saffron and he could do with some sound advice at this time to assist with his appeal.
