Unfortunately too many people believe that the truth will be seen and do not use a solicitor at interview. Always, always make use of legal assistance wherever possible.

However what is done, is done.

Double check to make sure that the solicitor is experienced in defending false allegations. They might have a website that will give you that information.

You will have to PM me your whereabouts. I don't think you have already done that as I have checked my messages but cannot see one from you. You will also need to outline the background of what happened in more detail in a PM so I can try to deal with it in an informed way.

If you can do that overnight I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

          is this why?
Hang on, looking back I can see you already have a solicitor who will see what he can find out towards the end of January.

Unless you are going to pay privately you are not going to find a solicitor who will do more than that on legal aid, and even if you DO find a sol, I doubt they will be able to make enquiries as to what is going on anyway. Unless there is any progress in the case by the police then there will be nothing to do.

I am sorry but you will have to sit and wait until the sol who has offered to help, makes enquiries towards the end of this month.

There really is nothing anybody can do at this point as far as I can see.
