Hi Puzzle1000, welcome to DM but as always, I am sorry that you find yourself here.

I would say that the texts are good evidence in your favour. Defence solicitors and barristers will always highlight friendly relations after an alleged rape.

Work closely with your solicitor ( we have a list of recommended sols in the useful information section ) and look after your mental health. I'm glad that you seem to have people around you for support.

Back up those texts if the police don't already have your phone.

Although you have no formal bail conditions, you would be extremely unwise to have any contact with the accuser as you could be further arrested for harassment or witness intimidation.

Statistically at least, very few rape allegations end up in court, the vast majority (80-90%) are disposed of with no further action (NFA) so try not to think of the worst case scenario too much.

Please keep us updated and feel free to ask any questions.
