I'm researching for a novel about an alleged rape and would like to interview someone who was accused of rape and is willing to talk about his first hand experiences.
I'm hoping to hear personal experiences about:
- the knock on the door and what followed
- the car ride
- what happened at the police station
- the cell
- the duty solicitor
- the interview
- the forensic examination, if there was one
- what you did about the loss of your phone
- bail conditions
- if you came across your accuser again
- was there any publicity and if so how did it happen?
- who did you tell and how did that go?
- impact on your life (job / studies / relationships)
- emotions and feelings
- police contact after you were released on bail
I live in West Sussex, but would be happy to interview anyone willing to speak to me via Skype or Zoom.
