  • I have a 100 tonne of evidence

    Hi

I have a 100 tonne of evidence providing that my FA consented to sexual activity. I really wish I could simple call up[ the OIC tomorrow and say here it is and tell them that they are wasting their time with the case. I know that if there is a court case then I have multiple sources to provided a responsible doubt. I don't want to have to wait for months so I was wondering has anyone know of a way to approach the OIC so they actually take the evidence I have on board rather than taking it and then trying to disprove it. Disproving it would be impossible as it includes verifiable texts from my FA. I hate the idea that I have to suffer because the police would rather try to convict than actually seek the truth.

You should consider paying for some legal advice.

I would not advise that you pass on any information directly to the police.

Consent for some activity does not prove that there was consent for all activity but as you say, it could provide the reasonable doubt necessary to avoid a charge and this is the best case scenario for you.

Most cases (80%) are NFA'd so it is unreasonable to assume that the police are "only interested in convictions" but with that said, I know of some cases where the police have been nothing short of criminal in their efforts to convict the innocent so we must always assume that police cannot be trusted.

There is a certain amount of wisdom in keeping at least some things to yourself just in case but there is also the fact that you can bring a prosecution upon yourself by being too untrusting of the police and not providing them with the evidence in your defence. Experience in the groups tells us that accusers can change their stories to suit, but also that sometimes the police do use their common sense when they have evidence before them.

Measuring what to disclose is the job of experienced legal professionals and depends on the specifics of the case. You need to either speak to a solicitor or wait and take your chances.
