'MoronWatch' - Of Interest...

Thought I'd post these links - 'MoronWatch' is a blog written by someone who clearly has a distinctive view on many current issues, it makes me think and I like it.

These are interesting articles, with links to other published pieces on topics that are in some ways, central to the purpose of this site. I'm neither 'for' or 'against' the points of view expressed in these articles, but I do think they are worth reading.

There are many complicated issues that need to be carefully thought about - from the idea of 'personal responsibility' on one hand, to the idea of a conservative, censorious 'new right' in Feminism, that decries any expression of female sexuality...

Have read a couple of these blogs and they raise some very good points and issues.
I always thought I was a bit odd, being a 50 something female and having no problems with women who make AN INFORMED CHOICE to engage in tge sex industry.
Let's face it- if you're going to have a one night stand with a stranger, may as well get paid for it.

Similarly if it's a choice, how is it exploitation? I work a full shift to get paid what some of these women earn in an hour- so who's the loser?

Totally agree with you Amanda - For some women, (and men!) of many ages, both young and old, it is THEIR CHOICE, and an INFORMED one as well, to engage in paid for sex. Its a good money earner as well! Upwards of £100 per HOUR!

There is a well known Adult Work web site out there, "normal" men (and women) use a great deal. Costs nothing to advertise. Its "reasonably" safe for both the worker and punter. But again as always it is about being in control and making an informed well researched choice.
