It would be very interesting if they were used at time of allegations on both parties, would probably save a fortune. Maybe we are moving to an inquisitorial justice system?
If they are reliable enough for this use, they should be reliable enough for Court. Maybe this will throw some people a lifeline in time to come. Appeals galore!
As for having your thoughts monitored, think we could all be locked up at times!
If the polygraphs come into common use, I think there will be a time, not too far away, when they will have to be generally accepted.
We are going to contact a company next week to investigate what they could/ can't do for us. Even though results may not be acceptable right now, they can be stored until an appropriate time.
Hub, me and son will be tested if they can help. This is less about whether hub was flirty with FA, as he was, but more about if there were sexual assaults, which there weren't, and if FA was flirty with hub. She most certainly was and i should think her new hub would not be too pleased at the answers.
There are some very specific questions that are relevant regarding her actions.
I'm not sure how we will progress then but my guess is we won't be the only ones.
The trouble is, socio and psychopaths can beat lie detectors and innocent people can fail through sweating with stress. I'd still take one though I I had been assaulted just to show willing.
Lawlessone2009- if they bring back public tomato throwing for false accusers, I don't think it would be just the falsely accused that would be doing the throwing.
I still don't understand how anyone could put someone else through this nightmare knowing that they're innocent. It just seems a vile and nasty thing to do.
I agree with the polygraph tests. It would be interesting to put a false accuser through the test to see how much of a reaction they give. I still find it very hard to talk about what happened to me. I still haven't told my counsellor after seeing her for nearly a year. I bet the false accusers can talk about it with ease. I don't know of anyone who has been through this that can talk about it easily. Makes me so cross that they can turn peoples lives upside down and get away with it.

The tomato throwing could become a national sport! Not just to be thrown at false accusers but politicians, bent police, politicians, neighbourhood thugs, politicians, tailgaters, politicians etc.
I agree with RF. I'd imagine there could be just as much info gathered from ones approach and willingness to participate in the poly as there could be from the thing itself.
