How long usually before privately paid legal expenses will be paid back to me ?

Hi , I am just wondering how long this normally takes my case ended in September this year , how long is it generally before i receive a payment for my legal costs that i paid for privately.

It should take around 6 months Soulbug but there is a recent law which cancelled the reimbursement.
I hope you will still be eligible for your refund.

Hi , yes i was told by my solicitor i would definitely receive costs , the judge awarded them on the day , when my case was thrown out as a abuse of process.

I kind of assumed it would be closer to 3 months , but 6 months it is

Ask the sol (or the nice man who works for him) to see how far the claim has got.

One member on the other forum who used the same sol had his money back between 4 - 5 months I think, but that case was dropped this time last year. Maybe it takes longer now....
