Hi does anyone have any statistics to the amount of people falsely accused of rape.

Nobody can possibly know any straight statistics because there are the falsely accused who are not guilty of all of the allegations; there are some who are guilty of some of it, and there are some who claim to be innocent but are not.

i would imagine if anyone did try to establish numbers who have been falsely accused the only way would be to look at numbers of people who have been found guilty of making a false allegation or who have been charge with perverting the course of justice/perjory (sp?). by no means ideal but statistics rarely are. it may be the closest you will find to a statistic of numbers falsely accused.
