I'm so sorry you're in limbo like this. It does seem that the authorities like to wait for each other, regardless of what anguish it causes those caught up in their never-ending game of pass-the-buck. Covid is blamed for more than it is actually responsible for too and has become a convenient excuse for many. I wish I could offer you more than a hug but here's one anyway.
