My wife has also been reading up on Essex police actions for those whom have falsely accused . 3 or 4 separate 12 month sentences were given , another got 18months and that is without other areas that could be following the path to stamping out this terrible act of lies.

I suppose the police go on the grounds of how many hours of investigating were wasted and never a consideration of what the accused have been through .

Perhaps public funding should be allocated towards compensation to the many of us that has lost so much throughout their ordeals , I no we have .......

These people sicken me - they definitely should face the same sentence that a convicted rapist does. After all, they have forever changed the lives of those they falsely accuse.
