I cannot understand why she cannot be named. She's committed a crime and the public should be aware of it. Oh silly me - we'd have rape crisis groups jumping up and down saying she was telling the truth all along.....

I don't understand either. Thing one thing that drives me mad with articles like these is when there are comments from the police saying they
hope it won't deter other victims comming forward. Glad this one hasn't gone there and is sympathetic to the boy.

I agree, it doesn't even match the six months it took her to admit to lying.

Me being nosey, looked into what a DTO is and it means half of your sentence will be
spent in custody and the other half in the community, so two months is the sentence.
