The trailer is only two minutes long. It's German (yes, false allegations abound in Europe too) but there are sub-titles. Hopefully it will be shown in the UK before too long.

Thanks for the link. If you click on 'in cinemas' on the right there is a small list of cinemas already showing it. I daresay it'll be on general release in the UK soon as it's just been released to the big cinemas where I live - I hope to go and see it this week.

It's a good plot for a film as it might open people's eyes a bit to false accusations and their repercussions.

Just wanted to let you know I went to see the film the Hunt and I can only praise the director Thomas Vinterberg. I don’t think many people will get to see it because I don’t suppose it will be playing at your local Odeon which is a shame, because it really captures the hysteria surrounding a false allegation and how you can be propelled from being a normal, decent human being into a world of madness. Anyway thanks for setting up this thread as I don’t think I would have known about this film if you hadn’t.
